Who can take the Cornhill Scotland Course?

Men and women with evangelical convictions from all Christian denominations. We are looking for those with both a hunger and a gift for Bible-teaching ministry. We want to train students who are hoping, God-willing, to do Bible teaching work in the future.

For many, the course is an important part of testing their suitability for this calling. A number of our students are moving towards ordained ministry and/or cross-cultural mission.

Some evidence of experience in teaching the Bible will be expected. This may have been gained in preaching, or (more often) in small-group contexts or youth and children's work.

The course provides an ideal grounding in Bible-teaching for church apprentices, as well as for those who already have a regular ministry in their own churches.

Practicalities of the Course
The course meets at the Bath Street Halls in central Glasgow each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for three terms totalling 30 teaching weeks in each year. Fridays will be study days in term time. Students are asked to find their own accommodation.
