A Cornhill training course has been running from September 2006 in central Glasgow, following the pattern of the London Cornhill Training Course.

What's the course for?
The course's primary aim is to train men to preach, while also training men and women to teach the Bible, in youth and children's work, women's ministry and other contexts.

What would I learn?

The course aims to equip Christians to:
understand the Bible accurately, teach the Bible effectively and apply the Bible appropriately.

Who's it for?
The Cornhill programme in Glasgow is aimed particularly towards accessibility for churches across Scotland, Ireland and the North of England, and teaching will be Monday - Thursday each week to allow weekend placements at a distance if required.

However, we even welcome applications from southerners interested in cultural enrichment!

How long does it take?
The course runs for one academic year (30 teaching weeks) of full-time study, alongside a church placement for practical ministry experience and input.  From September 2008 we are able to offer a part-time option, where students who are unable to take the course full-time would cover the material over two years, taking half the course in the first year and half the course in the second year.
